Happy Halloween!!! My kids are so fricken excited for today. Every time Little Mister sees anything Halloween he yells “haaoweeenn”. Little Miss has been asking every day for the last week “Is Halloween after tonight?”. I finally got to tell her yes. She is dressing up like Cinderella and Little Mister is going to be Buzz Lightyear from his all time fav movies ever, Toy Story.

I love Halloween. It’s not my fav holiday, which is totally 100% Christmas but Halloween is fun. I loved going trick or treating and eating candy as a kid. Once I got to be a teenager though, it was about firecrackers and walking around the neighbourhood and causing havoc. I, for one, am a wimp and was scared of the firecrackers. I like all my fingers thankyouverymuch.

I love summer.  It’s one of my 4 favorite seasons.  But this year the bugs are really getting to me.  First, the ants killed everything outside and the have pretty much infested my garden.  Now I have just discovered a hornets nest in my roof, 3 floors up.  They keep flying around the kiddie pool so the kids can’t even play out back.

It was Little Mister’s second birthday party last weekend.  I always go overboard on birthdays.  It’s just what I do.  His favorite toy in the world is Woody from Toy Story.  Nothing compares.  Nothing even comes close.  He LOVES Toy Story.  Every time he gets to pick a movie it’s Toy Story.  He says “Woody” but has yet to really say Mom. I have been wanting the Joy the Baker cookbook since before it even came out. So I last week I ordered it. The only problem is that it’s a gift. I had to look through it though. Ya know incase there was a page missing or aliens has changed the writing. So I was looking flipping through it and these beautiful Vanilla Bean Snickerdoodles jumped off the page. keep reading

I’ve decided that Easter is my favorite holiday.  There’s chocolate and bunnies and Mini Eggs (my fav candy of all time).  All good things in my book.  But then you add the cute factor with little girls dressed up in beautiful pastel dresses and boys in dress shoes and ties.  For a holiday, it doesn’t get much better than that.  Easter is all about the cute. keep reading
